This Murphy Flowage Log Shelter is a beautiful site constructed from the wood processed from our very own Rusk County Forest. It is a great way to host a family event. Murphy Flowage Pavilion Area is located across the road from the Murphy Campground and approximately 13 miles north of Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin, on County Hwy F. The picnic area is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The log pavilion is available by reservation or on a first-served basis. There are four picnic tables inside and four picnic tables outside the pavilion, as well as barbecue grills on-site for park users. This pavilion must be paid in full at the time of the reservation to ensure your date. Recreational opportunities include the Ice Age Trail located nearby. The parking area at the Murphy Flowage Pavilion can be used for vehicle parking during a hike. You can also use the parking lot to unload your ATV/UTV for a scenic ride through the Rusk County Forest ATV Trails located near Perch Lake Campground or 4 miles east of Murphy on North Bucks Lake Road.
